Letter of Invitation Club President Allan Boardman On behalf of T.A.D.O.M.S I cordially invite member of all antique machinery and associated vintage clubs to attend and exhibit at this the 7th Queensland Heritage Rally. Preparations are well under way . . . {more} Tractor Trek The Downs Vintage Machinery Club will be running a Tractor Trek in conjunction with the 7th Queensland Heritage Rally around the local region on Thursday, 27th October, 2016, prior to the rally.  Drivers will depart once instructed at 8.30am from the Oakey Showgrounds and enjoy a day of scenic driving, arriving at Goombungee for lunch and then return to Oakey at 5.00pm.  Please refer to the exhibitor’s registration form for more information. SEPTEMBER 2016 UPDATES: Street Parade The Downs Vintage Machinery Club will also be running a Street Parade down the main street of Oakey on Friday, 28th October, 2016.  The parade will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete.  Please refer to the exhibitor’s registration form for more information. N.B.: You must have completed a registration form to be able to participate in this sub event. Complimentary Dinner Our complimentary dinner on the Thursday night is open to all exhibitors and volunteers.  If you have not indicated on the registration form that you are coming, but you do wish to attend, it would be appreciated if you could please notify T.A.D.O.M.S as soon as possible, for catering purposes. Powered Camping Sites There are no powered sites left at the Oakey Showgrounds.  If you are needing a powered site, there is a caravan park in Oakey with good facilities and plenty of powered sites available.  Contact Oakridge Motel Tourist Park Ph: (07) 4691 3330.  There are still unpowered sites available at the Oakey Showground. Security We have tight security on the grounds from Monday 22nd to Monday 31st October. Registration We ask that all exhibitors register upon arrival and collect your rally bags.  Your bag will contain a copy of the official program, any pre-purchased merchandise, vehicle passes, arm band gate passes, etc. For those people who have not registered prior to the event, we ask that you also visit the office upon arrival to organise your registration. Our office will be situated in the middle of the Showground and will be clearly marked. Ecumenical Church Service On the Sunday of the Queensland Heritage Rally (30th October), an ecumenical church service will be held in the big pavilion, starting at 7.30am.  The service will take approximately 3/4 of an hour.  Everyone is welcome. Insurance We ask that all Vintage\Veteran Car and Truck Drivers please sign in at the office.  Vintage/veteran/classic car and truck owners/drivers have to be registered at the office.  Our QBE Insurance does not cover the vehicle, but all drivers must register at the office as they are coming to our rally as volunteers and insurance does cover all driver volunteers. Grand Parade (Friday & Saturday) : 1.30pm, (Sunday) : 1.00pm. QHR Meeting : (Sunday) : 8.30am. Breakfasts (Available Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday) : served from 6.30am. Food Outlets : Open all day until 4.30pm. Dinners (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) : 6.30pm.
