The Burdekin Machinery Preservationists Inc. have much pleasure in inviting you to the 9th Biennial Queensland Heritage Rally, sponsored by Kubota and Tracpower, which is to be held at the Ayr Showgrounds, 9 Edwards Street, Ayr, Queensland on the 23rd (Setup & Welcoming Dinner for Exhibitors Only), 24th, 25th and 26th July, 2020.

In planning this 9th Qld Heritage Rally the committee has the support of Burdekin Machinery Preservationist (BMP) Ayr, Kubota, Tracpower, the North Queensland Machinery Preservationists (NQMP) Townsville, the Pioneer Valley Machinery Preservationists (PVMP) Mackay, and the North Queensland Tractor Pulling Club.

Our Rally Committee’s goals and objectives are:

  • Plan, organise and stage a well run rally, which will showcase our early heritage.

  • Provide our visitors and exhibitors with a rare glimpse of early life by having suitable and appropriate displays, demonstrations and exhibits.

  • Encourage those involved in rare trades to demonstrate their skills.

  • Create an environment that will provide visitors and exhibitors with an opportunity to foster current and new friendships with like-minded people.

The highlight of the Rally will be the BMP Club’s 1910 2-Cylinder Single Speed Marshall Colonial Tractor and also a 4-Cylinder Marshall Colonial Tractor of the same era.

Another event will be the one-day Tractor Trek on Thursday 23rd July.

We encourage you to REGISTER as soon as possible to come along to the Rally in Ayr in 2020.
